Job Summary
Warehouse Associate responsible for receiving and dispatching merchandise, loading and unloading delivery vehicles, selecting products from the warehouse, loading and securing goods to pallets, moving inventory to delivery area, storing inventory in designated warehouse positions, and unloading stock from delivery vehicles. Maintain a clean and safe work environment, count and confirm inventory, inspect for damage, communicate errors, label stock, and build loads on pallets using forklift and electronic pallet jack. Requires ability to operate forklift and pallet jack, willingness to work 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM with potential overtime, and adherence to safety rules and procedures.
Required Qualifications
- 18 years of age or older
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Work experience as general laborer, preferably in a refrigerated warehouse
- Ability to operate forklift proficiently
- Completion of background investigation and drug screening
- Strong people skills
- Good moral character
- Physically strong, agile, and dexterous
- undeterred by heights and adverse climatic conditions
- Positive work history and solid attendance
- Available to work extended hours as needed
- Ability to operate a forklift, reach truck and electric pallet jack safely as required
