Job Summary
Lead and develop an SBU team to drive retention and new business growth in the commercial insurance space. Manage a personal book of business, foster carrier relationships, and supervise workflow, service levels, and cross-selling opportunities. Provide day-to-day leadership, coaching, and performance management to staff, partner with HR on staffing and onboarding, and collaborate with other team leaders to meet agency objectives. Requires a Bachelor’s degree, at least five years of Commercial Insurance service experience, and an active insurance license; travel may be involved. Proficiency with agency management systems (Applied EPIC preferred) and Microsoft Office is expected.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field (or equivalent education/work experience)
- Minimum of Five Years of Commercial Insurance Service experience
- Previous management experience preferred
- Must maintain a current insurance license as required by the State Department of Insurance
