SEIU Environmental Svcs Worker

Environmental Services Worker responsible for performing general heavy and light cleaning and housekeeping in University buildings (e.g., residence halls, hospital, administration/academic buildings). Duties include operating a range of cleaning and floor maintenance machines (strippers, waxers, buffers, vacuums), performing disinfecting procedures (fogging, cleaning walls/fixtures), washing windows and other surfaces, taking down and rehanging blinds/curtains, waste removal, moving equipment, and other custodial tasks as assigned. The role supports maintenance of a clean, safe environment and may involve lifting, standing, walking, bending, and exposure to cleaning chemicals. Scheduled as part-time UR Day shift in Rochester, NY under SEIU 023 H collective bargaining agreement, with pay range $18.38–$24.94 per hour.
