Job Summary
Performs general heavy and light cleaning and housekeeping services in University buildings, including residence halls, hospital, administration/academic buildings. Operates a variety of light or heavy duty housekeeping and floor maintenance machines and equipment to strip, wax and buff floors; wet and dry mops; cleans, disinfects, washes walls, ceilings, windows, and furnishings; handles linen and trash; moves equipment up/down stairs; and performs other custodial duties as assigned. Requires the ability to understand and follow oral instructions and regularly stand, walk, bend, and reach. This is a part-time role (20 hours per week) located in Rochester, NY.
Required Qualifications

- Handles heavy and medium-weight material, equipment and supplies
- Exposure to refuse, dirt, dust, detergents, body wastes and odors indoors and outdoors; potential exposure to infections
