Job Summary
Plan and provide therapy to children ages 3 to 5 years in schools, homes, or community-based settings. Collaborate with families and multi-disciplinary teams to develop goals and outcomes, while educating parents on intervention strategies. Maintain proper documentation and conduct evaluations to write comprehensive reports complying with state, city, and district regulations. This role offers many opportunities for training, support, and supervision, with potential to create a flexible schedule. Bilingual skills are a plus for bi-lingual cases.
Required Qualifications
- Certification as a Teacher of Students with Disabilities (Birth-2)
- Special Education permanent certification
- Bi-lingual extension for bi-lingual cases
