Job Summary
Plan and provide therapy to children ages 3 to 5 years in school, home, and community-based settings. Collaborate with families and multi-disciplinary teams to develop goals and outcomes, while educating parents on intervention strategies to ensure active involvement. Maintain proper documentation and conduct necessary evaluations to write comprehensive reports that comply with state, city, and district regulations. This itinerant role offers opportunities for training, support, and supervision, with potential for a flexible schedule. Bilingual skills are a plus for serving diverse cases.
Required Qualifications
- Certification as a Teacher of Students with Disabilities (Birth-2) or Special Education permanent certification
- Bi-lingual extension for bi-lingual cases
