Job Summary
Plan and provide therapy to children ages 3 to 5 years in school, home, and community-based settings. Collaborate with families and multi-disciplinary teams to develop goals and outcomes, while educating family members on intervention strategies. Maintain proper documentation to comply with state and city regulations and conduct evaluations to write comprehensive reports per district standards. This itinerant role offers flexible scheduling, extensive training, and support within the CPSE program. Bilingual skills are a plus for bi-lingual cases, and transitional B candidates are currently accepted.
Required Qualifications
- Certification as a Teacher of Students with Disabilities (Birth-2)
- Special Education permanent certification
- Bi-lingual extension for bi-lingual cases
- Transitional B Candidates
