Job Summary
Segment Specialist in K12 territory management focused on growing sales with Large Leverage Operators (LLOs) and distributors. Responsible for visiting LLOs, presenting focus lines, driving sales through targeted marketing, maintaining KPI-driven activities (weekly in-person visits, code bids, commodity drawdown), updating CRM with sales calls, and coordinating with bid/commodity support staff. Requires maintaining accurate account information, delivering presentations, and supporting local market activities. Requires independent work, strong time management, problem-solving, negotiation, decision-making, conflict resolution, and high professionalism. Experience with Microsoft Office and a valid driver's license with occasional overnight travel. Prefer a bachelor’s degree in business or related field or equivalent experience; culinary/operations experience also welcomed.
Required Qualifications
- Must have at least 2 years of previous sales experience
- Experience with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, & Outlook
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
- Ability to work independently and manage schedule
- Ability to drive and travel, including overnight stays
- Bachelor's degree in business or related field or equivalent experience (prefer)
- Able to lift 30 lbs and perform physical duties as needed
- Must have valid driver's license and auto insurance
- Professional attire required for onsite calls in schools
