Job Summary
Write and produce news and feature content for broadcasts, web, and social media, serving as line producer for complex live shows with video, audio, and remote sources. Conduct interviews, adapt English content into native languages, and version native-language material into English for distribution. Fine-edit taped material, static, and motion graphics; edit and approve copy from others for broadcast inclusion. Operate broadcast equipment, voice material for programs, and log data in the digital asset management system. Meet VOA productivity and quality standards while suggesting workflow improvements. Work independently or as a team member to contribute finished products meeting agency standards.
Required Qualifications
- Fluency in target language (written, spoken)
- Deep knowledge of the target area
- Ability to adapt stories into English as assigned
