Job Summary
Segment Manager HVACR in Northern Germany leads the local Motion strategy in HVACR, negotiates technically and commercially, develops new customers (data centers, district heating, industrial heat pumps), advises planners and end customers, and coordinates with ABB units; requires technical degree and several years in field sales, German and English fluency, and travel.
Required Qualifications
- Completed technician/master's degree or technical studies in the field of electrical engineering, electric drive technology, or HVACR
- Several years of professional experience in field sales, particularly in cold calling and the sale of technically complex products
- Good knowledge in the heating, ventilation, air conditioning or refrigerating industry as well as detailed product knowledge in the field of drive technology (drives and motors)
- Experience in the strategic development of customer relationships and responsibility for revenue, margin, and customer growth
- Knowledge in project management and experience in collaborating with sales channels
- Experience in organizing trade show appearances/customer events with a product focus
- Fluent in German, both written and spoken, and a good level of English
- Willingness to travel nationally for customer visits (3x/week)
