Job Summary
Transplant Hepatologist sought to join Loma Linda University Faculty Medical Group Transplant Institute on a full-time basis. Responsibilities include outpatient hepatology care, pre- and post-transplant management, outpatient endoscopy, and inpatient service coverage 1 in 4-5 weeks. Night and weekend call is shared with GI, averaging about 5-6 weeks per year. The role includes teaching medical students, residents, and fellows, with a clinical or health services research focus encouraged and ~3 half-days per week of protected time. Satellite clinics exist in Palm Springs, Murrieta, and Riverside county hospital. Required Qualifications
- Board certified or board eligible in Transplant Hepatology
- Board certified in Gastroenterology
- Clinical duties include outpatient clinic seeing general hepatology, pre- and post-transplant patients, outpatient endoscopy, inpatient service 1 in 4-5 weeks
- Teaching students, residents and fellows
- Research focus encouraged with protected time
