Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive primary care for a panel of approximately 1,200 veterans, managing diagnoses and treatment of acute and chronic conditions including diabetes, hypertension, COPD, and chronic pain within a Patient Aligned Care Team model. Deliver care alongside a team comprising a PCP, RN, LPN, and Medical Support Assistant, while promoting staff education, inter-professional training, and professional enrichment. Maintain full-time Monday through Friday hours with minimal call for abnormal labs. As a Board-Certified Family Practice or Internal Medicine physician, you will support the Portland VA Medical Center's quaternary referral network serving 80,000 patients annually.
Required Qualifications
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- Current, full, and unrestricted license to practice medicine or surgery in the U.S.
- Board Certification in Family Practice or Internal Medicine
