Job Summary
Seeking teachers to join a mission-driven program at Childhelp’s Rite of Passage Team in Lignum, VA. As a Teacher you will plan and deliver instructional programs for students with emotional/behavioral disabilities in a residential setting, support IEP/ETP development and implementation, monitor student progress, collaborate with staff, and participate in team planning. Must hold a Bachelor's Degree and a Virginia teaching credential (or be pursuing one) and be able to complete required background checks and health screenings. Schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:30 am–3:30 pm; on-site, with benefits including medical/dental/vision, life insurance, 401k match, and paid time off. Class sizes are typically under 10 students; provide academic instruction and therapeutic strategies aligned with individual plans, and engage with families via case-management processes.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- VA Teaching Credential or General Education Credential (will help with Credentialing if not certified)
