Job Summary
Full-Time Bilingual Appointment Coordinator at Green Park Dentistry, on-site in Hickory, NC. Responsibilities include greeting and assisting patients at the front desk, scheduling and rescheduling appointments, confirming recalls, answering calls professionally, maintaining accurate patient records in the management system, processing payments and verifying insurance details, providing directions and information to patients, distributing forms, handling day-to-day administrative tasks, managing office supplies, and coordinating emergency scheduling. Requires English/Spanish fluency, a high school diploma or equivalent, and 2+ years in a similar healthcare role is preferred. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and scheduling software, strong communication and customer-service skills, and a positive, professional demeanor are essential; OSHA/HIPAA knowledge is advantageous.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Fluency in English and Spanish
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role within a healthcare setting (preferred but not mandatory)
- Strong familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented with problem-solving abilities
- Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively
- Understanding of OSHA and HIPAA regulations (advantageous)
