Job Summary
Lead the planning, design, and execution of structural engineering projects in the Nashville office; mentor and provide leadership to project engineers and BIM team members; collaborate with clients to deliver results that meet needs; conduct feasibility studies, site investigations, and structural assessments; oversee preparation of drawings, calculations, specifications, and reports with compliance to building codes; identify risks and implement mitigation strategies; requires a Civil/Architectural Engineering degree and PE license with 8+ years in structural design and 2+ years in project management; proficient with ETABS, RAM, RISA-3D, Revit, and Bluebeam; strong knowledge of IBC/ASCE/ACI/AISC; leadership and communication skills; ongoing professional development and opportunities for mentorship and growth.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Architectural Engineering (Master's preferred)
- Professional Engineer (PE) license
- Minimum 8 years of experience in structural engineering design
- At least 2 years of project management experience
- Proficiency in structural analysis and design software (ETABS, RAM, RISA-3D, etc.)
- Strong knowledge of building codes and standards (IBC, ASCE, ACI, AISC)
- Experience with BIM software (Revit, Bluebeam)
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Commitment to continuous professional development
