Job Summary
Lead structural engineering projects from planning through design and execution in Lexington, KY. Oversee project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation; provide oversight to project engineers and BIM teams; collaborate with clients to define requirements and ensure timely communication throughout the project lifecycle. Utilize structural analysis/design software (ETABS, RAM, RISA-3D) and BIM tools (Revit, AutoCAD); ensure compliance with IBC/ASCE/ACI/AISC codes; drive innovative, cost-effective design solutions while mentoring team members and supporting ongoing professional development. Promote safety, quality, and a perpetual organization mindset focused on delivering excellent engineering outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Architectural Engineering
- Professional Engineer (PE) license
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in structural engineering design
- Proficiency in ETABS, RAM Structural System, RISA-3D
- Experience with BIM software such as Revit, AutoCAD
- Strong knowledge of building codes (IBC, ASCE, ACI, AISC)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask, prioritize workloads, and meet deadlines
