Job Summary
Assist with daily care and handling of seedstock sale cattle, including pulling, sorting, and moving livestock using low-stress techniques. Support cattle processing activities, health testing, routine animal management, and sale preparation tasks such as grooming, clipping, photography, and videography. Monitor cattle health, report concerns, maintain accurate inventory records, and aid in shipping and transportation. Help maintain barns, facilities, grounds, and equipment while participating in training opportunities. This full-time seasonal role lasts approximately nine months and offers extensive on-the-job training within a progressive seedstock operation.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
- Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting up to 50 pounds
- Dependable, team-oriented, and committed to animal welfare and safety

- Interest in livestock, agriculture, beef production, or ranching
- Previous cattle experience
