Job Summary
Seed Technician responsible for setting up, operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting manufacturing production equipment and processes in a Bayer facility. Tasks include operating machinery, adjusting process parameters (temperature, pressure, flow, material reactions), cleaning and decontaminating equipment, performing routine analytics and sampling, documenting results, and coordinating with the technical team. Roles include mentoring/training new employees, performing basic maintenance, using Bayer systems (SAP), leading Daily Direction Setting (DDS) meetings, applying operational excellence methods (5S, Lean, Six Sigma, 5WHYs), and ensuring compliance with HSE and QA/QC standards. The position involves driving a company vehicle and may require driving more than 5,000 miles annually. Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor's degree with Agriculture focus and bilingual abilities (Spanish). Salary range is $23.65-$29.74 per hour, with potential bonuses or additional compensation; benefits offered include health care, vision, dental, retirement, PTO, and sick leave.
Required Qualifications

- Valid Drivers’ License
- Ability to lift a minimum of 60 lbs.
- Ability to workdays, nights, rotating shifts, weekends, and overtime as business needs require.
