Seed Quality Lab Technician

Job Summary
Seed Quality Lab Technician performs subsampling and lab testing (germination, vigor, purity, herbicide bioassay), prepares media, records results in the lab data management system, and maintains work areas. Requires ability to lift up to 25 pounds, stand/walk for long periods, and strong attention to detail. Education options include an Associate or Bachelor’s degree in related fields or Seed Lab experience; HS diploma or GED is required. Full-time with comprehensive benefits; on-site lab environment under supervision of Seed Quality Lab Manager.
Required Qualifications
- Associates or Bachelor’s degree in related fields and/or Seed Lab experience, preferred.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent, required.
- Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and insurable driving record as determined by Beck’s automobile insurance policy
