Job Summary
Provide engineering solutions for unique problem sets and customers within a government software hosting facility. Deploy and maintain physical and virtual hardware infrastructure, including virtual machines and containers, while performing routine maintenance and configuration changes. Install, configure, and troubleshoot hardware and software issues across servers, workstations, and IT equipment. Maintain system backups, disaster recovery plans, and documentation for knowledge bases and incident responses. Manage user accounts, permissions, and software applications while securing information systems to current DoD guidance. Provide networking support for on-premises infrastructure and participate in project planning using Agile methodology. Full-time on-site presence required at NAVAIR base in PAX River, MD, with an active Secret clearance needed immediately and Top Secret clearance obtainable after beginning work.
Required Qualifications
- At least three years experience performing many of the responsibilities listed in this job requisition
- Experience with evaluating Risk Management Framework (RMF) compliance including performing Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) and Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS) scanning
- A certification in a Windows or Linux operating environment
- An ACTIVE Secret Clearance
- Ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance after beginning this work
- US Citizenship
- Full-time on-site presence at the NAVAIR base in PAX River, MD
- Future funded status (not expected to begin before September 1, 2026)
