Job Summary
Deploy and maintain physical and virtual hardware infrastructure, including virtual machines and containers, while performing routine maintenance and configuration changes on servers and workstations. Troubleshoot technical issues, manage user accounts and permissions, and deploy software applications to support engineering solutions for unique problem sets. Maintain system backups, disaster recovery plans, and documentation for incident response actions, while securing information systems through continuous monitoring and DoD guidance compliance. Provide networking support and technical guidance to customers, participating in project planning using Agile methodology. Full-time on-site presence at NAVAIR base in PAX River, MD; active Secret clearance required with Top Secret eligibility.
Required Qualifications
- At least three years experience performing many of the responsibilities listed in this job requisition
- Experience with evaluating Risk Management Framework (RMF) compliance including performing Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) and Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS) scanning
- A certification in a Windows or Linux operating environment
- An ACTIVE Secret Clearance
- Ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance after beginning this work
- US Citizenship
- Full-time on-site presence at the NAVAIR base in PAX River, MD
