Job Summary
Provide engineering solutions for unique problem sets and customers within a government software hosting facility. Deploy and maintain physical and virtual hardware infrastructure, including virtual machines and containers, while performing routine maintenance and configuration changes. Install, configure, and troubleshoot hardware and software issues across servers, workstations, and IT equipment. Manage user accounts, permissions, and system backups, and maintain documentation for knowledge bases and incident responses. Secure information systems to current DoD guidance through continuous monitoring and routine security reporting. Participate in project planning using Agile methodology and provide networking support to on-premises infrastructure.
Required Qualifications
- At least three years experience performing many of the responsibilities listed in this job requisition
- Experience with evaluating Risk Management Framework (RMF) compliance including performing Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) and Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS) scanning
- A certification in a Windows or Linux operating environment
- An ACTIVE Secret Clearance
- Ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance after beginning this work
- US Citizenship
- Full-time on-site presence at the NAVAIR base in PAX River, MD
