Job Summary
Deploy and maintain physical and virtual hardware infrastructure, including virtual machines and containers, within a government software hosting facility. Perform routine maintenance, configuration changes, and troubleshooting for servers, workstations, and IT equipment while managing user accounts, permissions, and system backups. Provide engineering solutions for unique problem sets and technical support to customers, ensuring secure information systems aligned with DoD guidance. Maintain documentation for knowledge bases, incident responses, and system configurations while participating in project planning using Agile methodology. Provide networking support for on-premises infrastructure and continuous monitoring of security postures. Full-time on-site presence required at NAVAIR base in PAX River, MD, with an active Secret clearance and ability to obtain Top Secret clearance.
Required Qualifications
- At least three years experience performing many of the responsibilities listed in this job requisition
- Experience with evaluating Risk Management Framework (RMF) compliance including performing Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) and Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS) scanning
- A certification in a Windows or Linux operating environment
- An ACTIVE Secret Clearance
- Ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance after beginning this work
- US Citizenship
