Job Summary
Deploy and maintain physical and virtual hardware infrastructure, including virtual machines and containers, while performing routine maintenance and configuration changes on servers and workstations. Troubleshoot technical issues for hardware and software, manage user accounts and permissions, and maintain system backups and disaster recovery plans. Provide engineering solutions for unique problem sets and technical support to customers, ensuring information systems remain secure according to DoD guidance through continuous monitoring and security reporting. Participate in project planning using Agile methodology and provide networking support to on-premises infrastructure. Maintain documentation for knowledge bases, incident responses, and system configurations.
Required Qualifications
- At least three years experience performing many of the responsibilities listed in this job requisition
- Experience with evaluating Risk Management Framework (RMF) compliance including performing Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) and Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS) scanning
- A certification in a Windows or Linux operating environment
- An ACTIVE Secret Clearance
- Ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance after beginning this work
- US Citizenship
- Full-time on-site presence at the NAVAIR base in PAX River, MD
- Future funded status (not expected to begin before September 1, 2026)
