Job Summary
Develop and maintain software requirements for aviation programs while reviewing vendor specifications and coordinating system integration. Conduct analysis of software defects, prepare Statements of Work and Contract Deliverable Requirements Lists, and develop Independent Government Cost Estimates. Support the Engineering Change Proposal process, participate in System Engineering Technical Reviews, and coordinate with cybersecurity subject matter experts within Agile and SAFe frameworks. Requires at least ten years of software and systems engineering experience, an active Secret clearance, and a BS in a technical discipline. Full-time on-site presence at NAVAIR base in PAX River, MD.
Required Qualifications
- At least ten years experience performing software and systems engineering activities
- Experience with military aircraft avionic systems and/or software
- An ACTIVE Secret Clearance
- US Citizenship
- BS in a technical discipline from an ABET accredited program
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with DOD-STD-2167A/MIL-STD-498/IEEE 12207
- Experience with Systems Software, Systems-of-Systems engineering, MBSE, or systems safety & reliability
- Experience with Agile software development processes
