Job Summary
Develop and maintain software requirements, review vendor specifications, and coordinate integration efforts with external vendors. Conduct defect analysis, collaborate with cybersecurity experts, and lead participation in System Engineering Technical Reviews including SRRs, SSRs, PDRs, and CDRs. Support the Engineering Change Proposal process, prepare Statements of Work and Contract Deliverable Requirements Lists, and develop Independent Government Cost Estimates. Assist in technical evaluations of contractor proposals while adhering to Agile and SAFe team processes. This full-time on-site role at NAVAIR base in PAX River, MD requires an active Secret Clearance and at least two years of software or systems engineering experience.
Required Qualifications
- At least two years experience performing software or systems engineering activities
- Knowledge of avionics systems
- An ACTIVE Secret Clearance
- US Citizenship
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with DOD-STD-2167A/MIL-STD-498/IEEE 12207
- Experience with Systems Software, Systems-of-Systems engineering, MBSE, or systems safety & reliability
- Experience with military aircraft avionic systems and software
- Experience with Agile software development processes
