Job Summary
Develop and maintain software requirements while reviewing vendor specifications and coordinating integration efforts. Conduct analysis of software defects and collaborate with cybersecurity subject matter experts. Participate in System Engineering Technical Reviews, including SRRs, SSRs, PDRs, CDRs, and TRRs. Support the Engineering Change Proposal process, prepare Statements of Work, and develop Independent Government Cost Estimates. Assist in technical evaluations of Contractor proposals within Agile and SAFe team processes. Full-time on-site presence at NAVAIR base in PAX River, MD; requires active Secret clearance with potential for Top Secret.
Required Qualifications
- At least two years experience performing software or systems engineering activities
- Knowledge of avionics systems
- An ACTIVE Secret Clearance
- US Citizenship
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with DOD-STD-2167A/MIL-STD-498/IEEE 12207
- Experience with Systems Software, Systems-of-Systems engineering, MBSE, or systems safety & reliability
- Experience with military aircraft avionic systems and software
- Experience with Agile software development processes
