Job Summary
Develop and maintain software requirements, review vendor specifications, and coordinate system integration for aviation programs. Conduct defect analysis, support engineering change proposals, and prepare Statements of Work and cost estimates. Participate in technical reviews, Agile and SAFe processes, and cybersecurity coordination. Requires active Secret clearance, two years of systems engineering experience, and on-site presence at NAVAIR base in PAX River, MD.
Required Qualifications
- At least two years experience performing software or systems engineering activities
- Knowledge of avionics systems
- An ACTIVE Secret Clearance
- US Citizenship
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with DOD-STD-2167A/MIL-STD-498/IEEE 12207
- Experience with Systems Software, Systems-of-Systems engineering, MBSE, or systems safety & reliability
- Experience with military aircraft avionic systems and software
- Experience with Agile software development processes
