Job Summary
Develop and maintain software requirements while reviewing vendor specifications and coordinating integration efforts. Conduct analysis of software defects and prepare Statements of Work and Contract Deliverable Requirements Lists. Support the Engineering Change Proposal process and participate in System Engineering Technical Reviews including SRRs, SSRs, PDRs, and CDRs. Coordinate with cybersecurity subject matter experts and develop Independent Government Cost Estimates. This role requires an active Secret clearance and two years of systems engineering experience. Full-time on-site presence at NAVAIR base in PAX River, MD is mandatory. Compensation ranges from $70,000 to $122,000 annually.
Required Qualifications
- At least two years experience performing software or systems engineering activities
- Knowledge of avionics systems
- An ACTIVE Secret Clearance
- US Citizenship
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with DOD-STD-2167A/MIL-STD-498/IEEE 12207
- Experience with Systems Software, Systems-of-Systems engineering, MBSE, or systems safety & reliability
- Experience with military aircraft avionic systems and software
- Experience with Agile software development processes
