Job Summary
Monitor entry points, exits, and designated zones to ensure authorized access and orderly guest flow. Conduct bag checks, ticket verification, and prohibited item screenings while managing crowd density in queues and high-traffic areas. Identify disruptive or suspicious behavior, utilizing de-escalation techniques to maintain safety and reporting incidents immediately to leadership. Coordinate with on-site EMTs and law enforcement when necessary, complete accurate incident reports, and conduct regular patrols of the event space and perimeter. Remain alert and visible throughout the full shift duration in varied weather conditions, supporting emergency evacuations and assisting guests with special needs. This seasonal role requires evening, weekend, and holiday attendance from late September to early November 2026.
Required Qualifications
- Prior security experience
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Reliable and consistent attendance throughout the full season
- Evenings, weekends, and holidays required
- Must be able to stand, walk, and patrol outdoors for the full duration of each shift
- Must be able to work in varied weather conditions
- Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays

- Event, venue, nightclub, retail loss prevention, or similar environments
- Demonstrated ability to de-escalate tense situations calmly and effectively without unnecessary confrontation
- Strong situational awareness and sound judgment in fast-moving, high-stimulation environments
- Clear, professional communication skills—both with guests and internal team members via radio
