Job Summary
Security Tester responsible for applying security principles and testing methodologies to web applications. Key duties include identifying and remediating OWASP Top 10 and SANS Top 25 vulnerabilities, supporting development teams through remediation plans, and utilizing security testing tools (AppScan, Burp, Checkmarx or Fortify) with configuration experience. Candidates should have 4+ years of manual and automated testing experience on web applications and 2 years of Java development experience. Security certifications (GIAC, CISSP, CEH, Security+) are desirable.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in both manual and automation testing on web applications
- 2 years Java development experience
- Mandatory familiarity with security tools - AppScan, Burp, Checkmarx or Fortify (configuration experience)
- Security certifications such as GIAC, CISSP, CEH, Security+ are an added advantage (At least 1 desired)
