Job Summary
Security Test Specialist with extensive automotive cybersecurity testing experience across AUTOSAR BSW, ECU/communication protocols (CAN, LIN, Ethernet, DoIP), and penetration/testing for OTA interfaces. Leads cybersecurity test strategy design (UN R155/UN R156), conducts Threat Analysis and Risk Assessment (TARA), validates secure boot/flash/OTA mechanisms, and ensures secure communications (TLS, authentication, encryption). Proficient in test automation (Python, CAPL, CANoe/CANalyzer), using tools like Wireshark and fuzzing frameworks; collaborates with BSW/ASW and systems teams to provide traceability and compliance documentation for OEM cybersecurity certification and regulatory approvals. Strong leadership capabilities to mentor teams and advance automation and AI in testing.
Required Qualifications
- B.E / B.Tech / ECE / EEE / CS
- 7 - 10 years of experience in automotive cybersecurity/testing
- Strong experience in AUTOSAR BSW testing (with sensors camera, video, radar, ultrasonic)
- Hands-on testing of CAN, LIN, Ethernet, FlexRay, and diagnostics (UDS/DoIP)
- Expertise in test automation using Python, CAPL, and CANoe/CANalyzer
- Design and execute cybersecurity test strategies in compliance with UN R155 and UN R156
- Penetration testing on automotive systems (ECU, CAN, Ethernet, OTA interfaces)
- Validate secure communication protocols (CAN, SOME/IP, DoIP, TLS) including authentication and encryption
- Test and verify secure boot, secure flashing, OTA update mechanisms
- Diagnostic security testing (UDS Security Access – Seed/Key)
- Collaborate with BSW, ASW, and system teams for traceability
- Prepare compliance documentation and audit evidence
- Mentor teams and drive automation & AI adoption in Test
