Job Summary
Security Technology & Operations Intern at the International Spy Museum to support the development of a SharePoint-based security dashboard and a Daily Activity Report alongside security leadership. Responsibilities include organizing security documentation for a training portal, developing role-based training content, usability testing of the dashboard, designing a daily activity report in Microsoft Access, and assisting with project planning, security briefings, and day-to-day security operations. The role provides hands-on exposure to physical security systems (camera layouts and access control concepts) and opportunities to participate in upgrades, system evaluations, and asset tracking. The internship is paid at $18.40/hour, runs up to 240 hours over 10–12 weeks (beginning around August 27, 2026), and offers academic credit; applicants must be pursuing a post-secondary pathway. Location for this on-site role is Washington, DC (L'Enfant Plaza SW), US.
Required Qualifications
- Open to anyone currently pursuing a post-secondary pathway (undergraduates, graduate students, or those seeking a professional certificate or an associate degree)
- Familiarity with Microsoft SharePoint (site design, page layouts, or content management)
- Familiarity with Microsoft Access (databases, forms, and queries)
