Job Summary
Manage physical security equipment and serve as the point person for security technical applications including Genetec Access Control, CCTV, and Lenel. Act as the business and after-hours primary responder for onsite technical issues, troubleshooting remotely and assessing needs with the Senior Global Security Manager. Identify and resolve offline equipment to minimize downtime while maintaining active inventory of critical spares and panels. Respond to critical events by providing in-person situational assessments, archiving incident information, and facilitating resources for operational continuity. Monitor network traffic to detect breaches, conduct forensic analysis, and ensure routine maintenance on physical and technical systems. Stay informed on cybersecurity threats and regulatory requirements to conduct risk assessments and audit controls for HIPAA and JCAHO compliance.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent job experience
- Minimum five years' experience in security
- Valid WA driver's license or ability to obtain same within 3 months of hire
- Genetec Enterprise Technical Certification (System design and hardening) or able to attain within 1 year of hire
- No criminal record
- Familiarity and experience (minimum 5 years) with security access control systems, video/CCTV and incident report computer programs
- Includes programming and trouble shooting
Desired Qualifications
- Healthcare preferred
- CPP, PSP, IAHSS or comparable certifications
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and departments
- Ability to multi-task and resolve situations independently with emphasis on dealing with a diverse work population
- Capable of handling difficult and stressful situations
- Ability to work a flexible schedule as needed including evenings, weekends and holidays as needed
- Work with people of diverse backgrounds while maintaining highest levels of integrity and confidentiality
