Job Summary

Lead strategic programs that transform and optimize the enterprise by designing, building, and maintaining execution plans and roadmaps spanning people, process, and technology. Establish workstreams, monitor progress against scope and budget, and create governance structures to mitigate risks while partnering with Change Management to ensure business readiness. Facilitate cross-functional collaboration across engineering, product, and sales units, serving as the escalation point for issues and decisions. Deliver regular status updates and executive presentations to stakeholders, ensuring initiatives align with business objectives and utilize best practices to drive value at scale.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 8+ years of experience in program management
  • Proven track record of successfully leading and delivering complex, high-impact projects at technology-based companies or within technical domains
  • Demonstrated knowledge of program and project management methodologies – waterfall, agile, kanban, etc.
  • Demonstrated experience in strategic planning, program development, resource allocation, budget management, and risk assessment
  • Proficiency in program management software and tools to facilitate efficient program planning, tracking, and reporting
  • Strong interpersonal skills, high emotional intelligence, and ability to develop effective partnerships across the company to engage, align, and gain stakeholder buy-in
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to synthesize information, solve problems, and make data-driven decisions
  • Ability to communicate effectively across written, verbal, and presentation formats to all levels of the organization from team members to executives
  • Ability to give executive summaries to any level of leadership is key
  • Strong organization and time management skills to keep programs on track
  • Ability to manage effectively in fast paced environment with multiple deadlines and competing priorities
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of enterprise-level processes and the interplay between functions, particularly Product Management and Engineering, Customer Support, Customer Success, Sales, Marketing, Technology Services, Finance and Accounting
  • Ability to think strategically and act tactically as needed and be willing to roll your sleeves up
  • Has a learning mindset, keeps up on industry trends, research, and best practices
  • Hybrid: Employees within 30 commutable miles of an F5 office are required to work from the office a minimum of 30 business days per quarter

Desired Qualifications

  • MBA or equivalent
  • PMP, PgMP, or other relevant project management certifications
  • Experience managing complex cybersecurity programs across cross-functional engineering and product organizations is strongly preferred
