Job Summary
Manage surveillance camera implementation, operation, and functionality by monitoring device performance, scanning for vulnerabilities, and coordinating installation and replacements. Collaborate with HR-Employee Relations, Legal, and Risk Management to process video requests for criminal investigations and employment inquiries. Work with Information Services to support device activation, connection, troubleshooting, and server maintenance for camera recordings. Assist in creating project proposals for capital or operational camera investments. Maintain a current driver's license and pass a background check to operate UW Health fleet vehicles. Schedule includes a Monday through Friday day shift with occasional early or late installs and emergency response outside standard hours.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- One (1) year of experience in the installation and maintenance of video surveillance devices and video management systems
- Must possess a current, valid driver's license issued by the individual's state of residence
- Must be at least 21 years old and have a minimum of three (3) years of driving experience to operate a Personal Vehicle, Patient/Visitor Vehicle, or standard UW Health Fleet Vehicle
- a valid Wisconsin driver's license
- successfully passing a driving background check
Desired Qualifications
- Associates degree/post-high school training in an Information Technology
- Three (3) years of experience in the installation and maintenance of video surveillance devices and video management systems
