Job Summary
Carry out in-depth analysis of plans, functional specifications, and contracts to determine technical project requirements, including estimating, designing, tracking, and planning phases. Provide input, reviews, and prepare shop drawings and wiring diagrams based on project specifications. Execute custom systems integrations, detailed systems upgrade planning, systems audits, and database management. Install, configure, and support a variety of network systems and equipment for assigned projects. Manage material and equipment procurement while maintaining awareness of customer needs under pressure.
Required Qualifications
- Exceptional customer focus and ability to work under pressure
- Solid knowledge of engineering principles and practices related to building automation systems, and/or electronic security systems
- Solid technical and computer-based skills
- Proven ability to troubleshoot problems and look for solutions
- Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude
- A valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to travel locally to jobsites on a regular basis
- Minimum Experience: 3-5 years technical, IT, or low-voltage systems project
- High School/GED or equivalent experience
Desired Qualifications
- College degree in Computer or Electrical Engineering, or low-voltage systems design coursework
