Job Summary
Lead technical resource to support the Applications Engineer role by managing workflow assignments and ensuring seamless collaboration. Develop comprehensive application solutions and precise estimates for Johnson Controls sales opportunities. Provide essential technical and sales support to the field organization for large and/or integrated systems, ensuring client needs are met with high-quality service. Analyze Salesforce.com dashboards and reports to ensure adherence to Center of Excellence processes; prioritize design/technical requests; apply Johnson Controls systems products to meet customer requirements; review bid specifications and develop exception documentation; collaborate with Sales Managers to prepare bid responses and functional specifications; prepare detailed project cost estimates aligned with budgets; ensure compliance with policies and procedures; provide technical assistance during system startup; assist in evaluation and beta testing of new systems and subsystems to enhance functionality. Willingness to travel to customer locations as needed to provide on-site support and engagement.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience
- Four to Five years of hands-on design, pricing, and implementation of integrated systems projects
- Proven ability to lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
