Job Summary
Assist with onboarding cleared employees, support clearance processing and access verifications, and maintain personnel security records in accordance with NISPOM requirements. Conduct routine security checks of closed areas, support access control procedures, and ensure proper safeguarding, storage, and destruction of classified material. Provide backup support to the COMSEC Custodian, assist with inventory and accountability of COMSEC material, and maintain COMSEC records and logs. Maintain security files, logs, and standard operating procedures, track security metrics, and assist with reporting during DCSA assessments and audit preparations.
Required Qualifications
- Active Top Secret clearance
- Working knowledge of the NISPOM and experience supporting Closed Area operations within a contractor environment
- 10+ years of experience in a related field
- Experience with SIMS, CCURE, DISS, NISS, NBIS, and eQIP systems
- High attention to detail with a strong customer service mindset
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-site environment
- Team oriented with a willingness to take initiative
Desired Qualifications
- Completion of FSO Program Management for possessing facilities or other CDSE certifications (e.g., SFPC, ISOC)
- Familiarity with COMSEC and classified material control procedures
