Security Support Officer

Security Support Officer responsible for safeguarding SCTCA employees, participants, facilities, and events. Performs routine administrative, technical, and professional tasks related to health, safety, and security programs; oversees SCTCA offices, coordinates drills and safety training, handles incident responses, and provides administrative coverage as needed. Serves as backup to the Safety Coordinator, reports to Human Resources Director; duties include responding to emergencies, monitoring for disturbances, patrolling premises, assisting with home visits, facilitating annual safety trainings, driving a company vehicle across sites, transporting participants for drug/alcohol testing and Live Scan completion, and supporting new hire safety training and terminations. Requires strong customer service, professionalism, confidentiality, and ability to work with diverse staff and community members; must be able to travel between sites and occasionally work after-hours or weekends.
