Job Summary
Oversee security operations and manage a team of security personnel at the newly reimagined Royal Palm South Beach Miami, ensuring the safety and well-being of guests and staff. Lead daily activities that maintain high security standards, handle challenging situations, and direct staff to create a welcoming atmosphere. Conduct investigations, write detailed reports, and monitor fire, security, and keyless access systems while utilizing technical data analysis for incident management. This role requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, two to three years of supervisory experience in security or law enforcement, and CPR certification. The position involves extensive walking, repetitive motions, and visual acuity demands. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
- 2-3 years prior supervisory position in security/law enforcement, hotel preferred
- CPR Certification
- Strong report writing of investigations and incidents
- The ability to read, analyze and interpret common technical data
- Computer knowledge including Microsoft Office to perform budgeting, payroll, and other communications
- Demonstrated ability to lead, direct and motivate staff
- Knowledgeable of fire, security, and keyless access systems
- Requires grasping, extensive walking, repetitive motions, bending, climbing, listening, smelling and visual acuity
