Job Summary
Loss Prevention Supervisor responsible for overseeing daily security operations, leading Loss Prevention Officers, and ensuring safety of guests, team members, and property. Provides incident response and investigations, maintains post coverage, conducts regular patrols, enforces policies, and collaborates with Engineering, Housekeeping, and Front Office to ensure property-wide security alignment. Requires high school diploma or equivalent; CPR/First Aid/AED and Alcohol Awareness certifications (or ability to obtain); state/local security licenses as required; 21+ years old. Strong leadership, decision-making, and communication skills; luxury-hotel or resort experience preferred. Physical ability to patrol indoors/outdoors and respond quickly to emergencies; maintain confidentiality and professionalism; participate in training and development. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- CPR, First Aid, and AED certification required (or ability to obtain)
- Alcohol Awareness certification required (or ability to obtain)
- Any required state or local security licenses must be obtained and maintained
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Prior experience in loss prevention, security, or law enforcement preferred, with supervisory experience strongly preferred
- Strong leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency with basic computer systems, security software, reporting tools
