Job Summary
Respond to requests for assistance from staff and visitors regarding security issues such as fire and medical emergencies. Conduct pre-event and post-event building safety inspections, admit guests and contractors according to established procedures, and provide regular security functions within the arena prior to, during, and after all events. Perform assigned event and non-event duties including metal detection, bag checking, and concert barricades, while protecting equipment and structures throughout the schedule. When requested, escort persons to and from locations within the facility. This part-time role operates during the event season from September through May with an hourly rate of $18.00. Prior supervisory experience is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work beyond traditional business hours, including nights, weekends, and select holidays
- Must demonstrate strong attention to detail
- Must demonstrate a positive, professional, calm, and customer-focused attitude

- Prior security experience
- Prior supervisory experience
- Able to work events as assigned
