Job Summary
Security Supervisor responsible for guiding and supervising the security staff in a casino environment, enforcing internal controls and underage gambling laws, coordinating scheduling, and maintaining safety and incident logs. Leads post inspections, prepares incident reports, and communicates guest and team concerns to management. Ensures compliance with regulatory requirements, budgets, and company standards for customer service, uniforms, and grooming. Requires interaction with regulators, fire/rescue, and law enforcement, plus ability to write reports and use Microsoft applications. Must hold a California BSIS Guard Card, be able to obtain First Aid/AED certification, complete CARE or TIPS training, and obtain/maintain an RBS Certification within 60 days. Physical requirements include lifting up to 50 pounds and standard security duties in a casino setting.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- two years casino Security, military, or police experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and have acceptable driving history.
- Current Guard Card from California BSIS
- Must obtain First Aid/AED certification
- Must successfully complete C.A.R.E or TIPS training
- Ability to earn and maintain RBS Certification within 60 days of employment
