Job Summary
Inspect, train, and lead security personnel to ensure quality services meet customer expectations and contract requirements. Manage operations by scheduling staff, reviewing daily logs and incident reports, and providing recommendations for personnel actions. Maintain a visible presence in the facility, monitor the environment for suspicious activity, and enforce established policies and emergency response procedures. Initiate preliminary investigations into incidents, write accurate reports, and answer all phones professionally. Requires a state-mandated security license, high school diploma, and ability to work 24/7 operations.
Required Qualifications
- State or municipality mandated security officer licenses
- Minimum High School Diploma, GED or the equivalent
- Must have reliable means of communication and transportation
- Must have a security guard license or be able to obtain one within an acceptable period
Desired Qualifications
- Verifiable and successful supervisory and advanced education and/or certifications preferred
- Previous contract security, law enforcement, military, customer service experience is helpful
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Write routine correspondence, to include log entries, incident and reporting
- Ability to work in a fast paced, customer service environment
- Good time management skills and the ability to prioritize and problem solve
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office
