Job Summary
Conduct daily security operations by briefing all officers, allocating duties per assignment instructions, and ensuring staff display valid SIA licences. Supervise the reception team, verify contractor paperwork, and investigate first-stage fire alarms and theft reports while acting as the ICO during emergencies. Monitor staffing levels via TIMGATE software, report gaps to the Security Manager, and escalate health and safety breaches or near misses immediately. Ensure all site checks are completed weekly, fault reports are sent to the client, and accidents are documented with relevant CCTV footage saved. Maintain impeccable professional appearance and adhere to all emergency procedures and risk assessments.
Required Qualifications
- Valid SIA Licence
- First Aid qualified
- Fire Marshall qualified
- Knowledge of or previously used TIMGATE software system
- Knowledge of the security industry
- Knowledge of corporate responsibility
- Ability to work in a disciplined environment
- Ability to act independently
