Job Summary
Part-time Usher/Ticket Taker position at Orpheum Theatre Boston (Live Nation). Greet guests, scan tickets, guide patrons to seating, answer questions, and assist with special needs while helping maintain a safe and welcoming venue environment during events. Required Qualifications
- Physical stamina to perform constant walking and climbing stairs for 6-8 hour shifts
- Ability to stand for long periods and navigate stairs during events
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs
- Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills to assist guests and resolve questions or issues
- Customer-service oriented with a professional and friendly demeanor
- Ability to provide directions, safety information and emergency assistance to guests as needed
- Ability to work in a fast-paced live event environment and think quickly
Desired Qualifications
- 1+ year in a guest service role preferred
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Friendly, outgoing and presentable demeanor with the ability to think quickly in a fast-paced environment
