Job Summary
Supervise, coach, and support Security Officers and Shift Leads while managing performance, hiring, training, and accurate timekeeping. Oversee daily security operations at Tippecanoe Mall, conducting site patrols, inspections, and incident responses to ensure compliance with post orders and company policies. Monitor security systems including CCTV, alarms, and access control to maintain safety standards and enforce emergency protocols. Build relationships with mall management, tenants, and local authorities while providing professional customer service to all visitors. This hands-on leadership role includes Sunday through Saturday shifts with a starting pay of $20.00/hour.
Required Qualifications
- Prior security experience with supervisory or leadership responsibilities
- Knowledge of security operations, procedures, and safety practices
- Ability to obtain and maintain required security licenses/certifications
- Strong written and verbal communication skills (report writing required)
- Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations
- Proven leadership and team management skills
- Strong customer service mindset
- Ability to multitask, stay organized, and prioritize effectively
- Comfortable using security systems and standard office equipment
- Reliable, adaptable, and detail-oriented
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work across diverse groups
