Job Summary
Lead and support the on-site security team at Tippecanoe Mall by supervising officers, managing performance, and ensuring accurate scheduling and timekeeping. Oversee daily security operations, conduct site patrols and inspections, and respond to incidents while maintaining compliance with post orders and company policies. Monitor security systems including CCTV and alarms, ensure equipment maintenance, and build relationships with mall management, tenants, and local authorities. Complete all reports and logs accurately and on time. Starting at $20.00/hour with full-time Sunday through Saturday shifts.
Required Qualifications
- Prior security experience with supervisory or leadership responsibilities
- Knowledge of security operations, procedures, and safety practices
- Ability to obtain and maintain required security licenses/certifications
- Strong written and verbal communication skills (report writing required)
- Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations
- Proven leadership and team management skills
- Strong customer service mindset
- Ability to multitask, stay organized, and prioritize effectively
- Comfortable using security systems and standard office equipment
- Reliable, adaptable, and detail-oriented
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work across diverse groups
