Job Summary
Supervise, coach, and support Security Officers and Shift Leads while overseeing daily security operations at Tippecanoe Mall. Conduct site patrols, inspect safety systems, and respond to incidents or alarms, ensuring compliance with post orders and company policies. Manage performance through coaching and corrective actions, assist with hiring and training, and ensure accurate scheduling and timekeeping. Build relationships with mall management, tenants, and local authorities while maintaining professional customer service interactions. Requires prior supervisory security experience, relevant certifications, and strong communication skills. Full-time Sunday through Saturday shift with medical, dental, and 401(k) benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Prior security experience with supervisory or leadership responsibilities
- Knowledge of security operations, procedures, and safety practices
- Ability to obtain and maintain required security licenses/certifications
- Strong written and verbal communication skills (report writing required)
- Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations
- Proven leadership and team management skills
- Strong customer service mindset
- Ability to multitask, stay organized, and prioritize effectively
- Comfortable using security systems and standard office equipment
